Symmes Neighborhood Advisory Committee

The Symmes Neighborhood Advisory Committee (SNAC) is a group of 5 neighbors appointed to represent neighborhood interests to the Arlington Redevelopment Board. See About Symmes for additional information.

We are currently working on the following topics:
* Special permit (requirements imposed on the developer during and after construction, including environmental hazards, noise, dust, setbacks, etc.)
* Neighborhood protection plan (construction mitigation proposal)
* Transportation during and after construction
* Neighborhood communications plan
* Paper street at Millett and Brattle

These presentations, given at the 2nd Special Permit Hearings on 7/11/05, 7/18/05, and 7/25/05, contain many conceptual drawings of the proposed 230+ residences, lighting, landscaping, drainage, utilities, etc. The 26,000 sq ft medical office building is not included, since it was the subject of a previous presentation.
